The company Kleen-Tex Industries GmbH / Kleen-Tex industries Limited / Kleen-Tex Poland Sp. z o.o. (hereafter referred to as KLEEN-TEX) has created this privacy statement because we take your privacy seriously. The statement sets out, who we are, what information we collect from you, and how we use it.

General

If you provide us with personal information (your name, postal address, telephone, fax, or email address), or have done so in the past, via our website (www.kleen-tex.co.uk), publications or surveys, we may use it to send you updates on our latest products and promotions, or to contact you so that we may learn more about our customers. We may also share this information with other companies that offer products or services to the textile industry that could be of interest to you. If you do not want companies other than KLEEN-TEX to contact you, you can choose to "opt out," and KLEEN-TEX will respect your wishes.

Information you supply in transactions

If you have supplied us with personal and financial information, (such as your credit card or bank details) we will use this information in the normal conduct of our business relationship with you. Contact information from order forms, either on our website or in printed form, is used to send orders. Financial information is used to bill you for the products and services you order from us. KLEEN-TEX also maintains intermediary relationships with credit card and shipping companies and as part of our business process provides these companies with customer information in order to conduct business.

Published information

You may have provided us with your name and/or business details for inclusion in one or more of our publications. If so, this information is now in the public domain and KLEEN-TEX has no control over the privacy practices of third parties accessing this information. KLEEN-TEX will not use your name and/or business details in our directory publications without your consent. We will contact you directly to ask for your consent.

Opt out

If you do not want companies other than KLEEN-TEX to contact you, you can choose to "opt out". All data collection forms on KLEEN-TEX's website, and printed order forms produced after 31/01/2002, include an "opt out". Please note, however, that if you provide KLEEN-TEX with inconsistent privacy preferences (for example, by indicating on one occasion that third parties may contact you and indicating on another occasion that they may not), or if your name and/or business details appear in one or more of our publications, KLEEN-TEX cannot guarantee that your most recent privacy preference will be honoured.

Changes to this statement

KLEEN-TEX's privacy statement is subject to change at any time. KLEEN-TEX will post changes to this statement on this page 30 days prior to implementing any major changes.

Cookie Notice

Cookie Policy

This website uses session cookies (see below) only, for analytical purposes to track and improve the visitor experience.

We DO NOT use cookies to collect any personal data.

EU Cookie Law

A new law on cookies demands that you, as a website user, are given the opportunity to understand how cookies are used on our websites and consent to cookies being stored on your computer

(laptop/mobile/tablet).

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file, typically of letters and numbers, downloaded to your computer when you access websites. Typically, they contain the following information: a site name and unique user ID, the

duration of the cookie's abilities and effects, and a random number. As a rule, cookies cannot be used to reveal your identity or personally identifying information.

When you visit a website that uses cookies for the first time, a cookie is downloaded onto your computer. The next time you visit that website, your computer checks to see if it has a cookie that is

relevant and sends the information contained in that cookie back to the website. The website then notes that you have been there before, and in some cases, tailors what pops up on screen to take account of

that fact. They also might record how long you spend on each page on a site, what links you click, even your preferences for page layouts and colour schemes.

Generally, the role of cookies is beneficial, making your interaction with frequently-visited sites smoother with no extra effort on your part. Without cookies, online shopping would be much harder. Without cookies, some websites will become less interactive with the cookie option turned off.

Most common cookies...

Session cookies

These cookies expire when you close your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome). These cookies are used for various reasons, for example, remembering what you have put in your

shopping basket as you browse a website. They can also be used for security to access your Internet banking or email.

Persistent cookies

These cookies are still stored on your computer after you have closed your web browser which allows your preferences on websites to be remembered. These cookies are used for a variety of purposes, for

example, remembering your preferences on a website (your language choice or your user name on a particular website).

First and Third Party cookies

This refers to the website placing the cookie. First party cookies are cookies set by the website you are visiting. Third party cookies are set by another website; the website you are visiting may have

advertising on the page and this other website will be able to set a cookie on your computer. Third party cookies on the main web browsers allow third party cookies by default. Changing the settings on your browsers can prevent this.

Exceptions

There are some exemptions to the above where it is essential for a website to store information on your computer, for example, to provide a service to you that you have requested.

Our use of cookies

We only use session cookies to improve your experience on our websites or if you choose to buy any of our products and services they are used to pass your choices through to our cart system.

We also use Google Analytical cookies to understand your usage of our website for continued marketing improvements.
